Airport Visioning Public Involvement Update – 12/19

Thank you to the over 100 applicants that have applied to serve on the Airport Advisory Vision Committee and Working Groups. We are thrilled with the number of applicants and interest in volunteering for these committees.  The application period closed on December 14th, and the Pitkin County Board of County Commissioners will make appointments in early 2019.

It is expected that the four advisory groups will begin meeting in early 2019. These meetings will be open to the public. Reports from the committees will be published on and via this Plane Talk newsletter. Recommendations made by the Airport Vision Committee, along with input from the topic-focused airport advisory groups and overarching community, will inform the County’s decision-making process.
